DESIGN ELEMENTS

PRODUCT STRIP

The product strip is a design element consisting of images of MEIKO products arranged in a row. This shows MEIKO's technical capabilities. It can be used at all levels of communication:

PROMOTION STICKER

The promotion sticker is a star-shaped polygon, portraying radiant shine and cleanliness.

The image and font colours on a promotion sticker are sourced from the options of MEIKO's dominant colour, secondary colours or spot colours.

If superimposed on images or graphics, the opacity of the promotion sticker will be reduced, but only to a point which still guarantees the information is legible.

LINES

Lines and ends of lines are used in the styles, colours and thicknesses shown here.

Lines are defined here based on the A4 format with a thickness of 0.5 pt.

Pointer lines are defined here based on the A4 format with a thickness of 3 pt.

Where lines and pointer lines are used in formats larger than A4, they are to be scaled as follows:

A4 → A3, A3 → A2

Factor 1.41

A4 → A2, A3 → A1

Factor 2.00

A4 → A1, A3 → A0

Factor 2.82

A4 → A0

Factor 4.00

A4 → A0 Oversize

Factor 4.19

When using lines/dotted lines/line arrows/pointer lines in formats smaller than A4, the lines do not change thickness.

FRAMES

Frames are used in the styles, colours and thicknesses shown here. Frames are defined here based on the A4 format with a thickness of 3 pt.

Where frames are used in formats larger than A4, they are scaled as follows:

A4 → A3, A3 → A2

Factor 2.00

A4 → A1, A3 → A0

Factor 2.82

A4 → A0

Factor 4.00

A4 → A0 Oversize

Factor 4.19

Where frames are used in formats smaller than A4, the lines do not change thickness.
