DOS & DON‘TS
MEIKO films must ensure that the viewer perceives and experiences MEIKO's premium positioning. This applies to the content of the videos as well as their overall look and feel. Videos should consist of technically flawless materials crafted into a clear and precise final product. Any text used must be approved by the marketing manager responsible in each case.
GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
Film footage and video animations must have a minimum resolution of 1920 × 1080 (Full HD) and be produced with as little compression as possible in order to ensure high-quality output.

STYLE
Production logo – "M"
The production logo appears in the top left-hand corner for the entire duration of each video. It is only faded out for the title screen, closing screen and outro.
In terms of its position, the logo should be placed 55 px from the top and 95 px from the left-hand edge.
The production logo is always displayed in 100% white, set to 80% opacity.
Subtitles
Subtitles are displayed in Arial Bold. They are white and positioned in the middle of the screen at the bottom.
Subtitles are accentuated by a black border: the text itself is always white, and the border is black.

Section headings
Section headings are always displayed on a white, semi-transparent background (80% opacity).
The fading in of the heading is initiated by scaling up the white background layer.

The lower third consists of a single element. It always uses the same fixed format.
It is positioned on the opposite side to the person speaking.

Closing screen/ending
Use of a closing screen is optional. It can be used to provide final pieces of information, such as URLs, copyright details or the year the film was made.
The text on the closing screen is always displayed in the middle of the screen on a dark-grey background (# 262626).
